Job Description

1. Performing blood draws using venipuncture or finger-stick methods, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

2 Properly labeling, storing, and transporting collected samples to the laboratory, maintaining sample integrity and adhering to standard operating procedures. 

3 Greeting patients, explaining procedures, verifying patient information, and providing a positive and compassionate patient experience

4 Maintaining accurate patient records, including test details, results, and other relevant information.

5 Assisting in managing supplies like vacutainers and syringes

6 Following infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and safe environment

7 Understanding and implementing proper safety and hygiene protocols. 

8 Ability to manage workload, track samples, and maintain accurate records. 

9 Compassion, empathy, and the ability to create a comfortable experience for patients during blood draws.
