Job Description
Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Scrum Master
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn about new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Candidate will be working on existing and new initiatives within the applications development teams.
- The Scrum Master serves the Product Owner in several ways, including:
a. Ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team as well as possible;
b. Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management;
c. Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items;
d. Understanding product planning in an empirical environment;
e. Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value;
f. Understanding and practicing agility; and facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed.
- Scrum Master Service to the Development Team
a. Coaching the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality;
b. Helping the Development Team to create high-value products;
c. Removing impediments to the Development Teams progress;
d. Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed; and,
- Scrum Master Service to the Organization
a. Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact Scrum and empirical product development;
b. Causing change that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team; and,
c. Working with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
- Telecom domain knowledge, understanding of media and entertainment domain / space is an advantage.

Minimum Qualifications
- BE/B Tech/MCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Certified Scrum Master
- Experience of running Agile Squads
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to liaise with colleagues/clients of all levels.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently and efficiently to achieve goals either as an individual or as part of a team.
- Experience of Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Microsoft Teams, Excel and Visio.
- Experience of investigating, summarizing and presenting results in a meaningful format to clients and Senior Management.
