  • Education: B.E / M.E in Civil with PG in Construction Management preferred.
  • Experience: 15-25 years in Industrial, EPC, or Institutional construction with general contracting firms.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, techno-commercial operations, and contract management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven success in increasing revenue and developing long-term client relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of various contracting philosophies: EPC, Turnkey, Item Rate, etc.
  • Proficiency in drafting contractual letters, claims, and risk assessments.

Tendering & Estimation
  • Responsible for tendering and costing of civil verticals.
  • Analyse tender documents, scope of work, financial criteria, and qualification requirements.
  • Create and execute pricing strategies to enhance bid-win ratios.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, execution, legal, supply chain, and other departments for timely bid submissions.
  • Prepare risk reviews, coordinate bid documentation, and manage essential data transfer for costing.
  • Study tender results to improve future bidding strategies.
Customer Engagement & Market Intelligence
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to capture upcoming business opportunities.
  • Collect intelligence on future customer requirements and projects.
  • Study market trends, competitor analysis, and geographic dynamics to shape business strategies.
  • Represent the company at meetings, conferences, and industry forums to promote business.
Contract Management & Commercial Operations
  • Review and finalize contracts related to civil, EPC, MEP, finishing, and structural works.
  • Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors ensuring favorable terms.
  • Prepare salient features and contractual obligations for projects.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and commercial terms in tenders/projects.
  • Draft, review, and finalize agreements with clients, vendors, and consultants.
Strategic & Operational Leadership
  • Guide and mentor BD team members for goal alignment and achievement.
  • Maintain Approved Subcontractor/Supplier Lists and recommend new appointments.
  • Prepare MIS reports, extension letters, rate approvals, and claim documentation.
  • Identify project risks, scope changes, and claims to ensure revenue generation.
