Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Citrix Workspace app web team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge web based Citrix Workspace app. You will be responsible for all aspects of testing, validation, and quality assurance, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement. You will be involved with planning and prioritization of design and development activities for a wide range of initiatives. You will be encouraged to demonstrate the ability to multitask work in a fast paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and technologies such as Selenium, Robot framework, Python, PowerShell.




• Automate UI, API, and integration tests to improve efficiency and test coverage.




• Champion automation best practices within the team.




• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web-based software applications.




• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, security, and integration testing.




• Work effectively in a collaborative team environment with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.




• Strong self-motivation and being able to work in a team environment with limited supervision.

Required Experience/Skills

• B. E/B. Tech or M. Tech in Computer Science or related field with the relevant experience in Automation Testing of 5+ Years




• Hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and scripting languages - Python, Shell, Selenium, Robot framework, Powershell, JavaScript, CSS, HTML.




• Understanding of basic networking concepts and network troubleshooting tools (e. g. , Wireshark, etc).




• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e. g. , AWS, Azure, GCP) and related technologies.




• Excellent communication articulation skills




• Experience with CI-CD tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc. )

B. E/B. Tech or M. Tech or equivalent degree in CS/IT or related field
