Location: Bangalore
Experience: 8 to 12 years
Work from the office in a Hybrid mode (Thrice a week).
Job Overview:
We are seeking an expert Software Quality Assurance Engineer with experience in Financial Services. The ideal candidate should be conversant with buy-side and sell-side Order Management Systems (OMS) and workflows.
Roles & Responsibility:
The QA Engineer will be responsible test plan development, execution, and results tracking as a member of a diverse, globally distributed team. The candidate will conduct in-depth application and workflow testing, as well as provide QA leadership and feedback to a diverse globally distributed team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, Software Developers, and other QA personnel.
- Collaborating with cross-functional agile team members to understand project requirements/user stories and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining manual and automated test scripts, with focus on creating effective and reusable test scripts.
- Working closely with developers and product owners to identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects, and ensure timely resolution.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree, Computer Science strongly preferred.
- 8+ years experience, at least 4+ years in Financial Services.
- Expert knowledge in testing methodologies, QA terminologies and processes.
- Experience with PL/SQL, Databricks
- Experience with JIRA/Xray
- Experience with Agile/KANBAN
- Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Strong organizational skills, team-oriented attitude and attention to detail.
- Experience with JAVA-Selenium
- Experience with Ranorex/Tricentis TOSCA
- Experience with Jenkins - CI CD
. Experience in capital market / order management system is plus
- Experience with both buy-side and sell-side Order Management Systems, ideally, Fidessa, CRIMS, and EMSX or equivalents.
. Ability to develop simulators to test various integration touch points.
Additional requirements:
Ability to work off hours to align with globally distributed team members.
Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.
