Oracle Apex Developer @ Deepija Telecom

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Oracle APEX [ver 24.1] & PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX) and PL/SQL. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Oracle databases, SQL tuning, and APEX components, along with experience in designing secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle APEX applications to meet business requirements.
• Write efficient PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages for backend development.
• Optimize SQL queries and ensure performance tuning for complex database interactions.
• Design and implement authorization and authentication schemes in Oracle APEX.
• Develop interactive reports, dashboards, and advanced forms with dynamic actions using APEX components.
• Handle data migrations, integrations, and API development with third-party systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues, ensuring smooth system functionality.
• Ensure application security by implementing best practices in data protection and access controls.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, including ER diagrams, process flows, and design documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development.
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, including stored procedures, packages, and triggers.
• Experience with APEX Components, including Interactive Grids, Dynamic Actions, and RESTful Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Oracle APEX APIs for UI/UX enhancements.
• Oracle Certification would be a plus.
• Understanding of APEX security best practices and role-based access controls.
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket) and ticketing tool (Jira).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
