Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end automation testing efforts using UFT (Unified Functional Testing) .
  

• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts for regression and functional testing.
  

• Collaborate with QA teams, business analysts, and developers to define test automation strategy.
  

• Review and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and performance.
  

• Manage test execution, defect tracking, and test reporting using tools like HP ALM / Quality Center .
  

• Mentor and guide junior automation engineers.
  

• Ensure alignment with SDLC and agile best practices.

  
  Qualifications
  

  Btech or BE IT
  Essential skills
  

  
  

  • Strong hands-on experience with UFT/QTP .
    

  • Expertise in VBScript , UFT frameworks (keyword-driven, data-driven, hybrid).
    

  • Experience integrating UFT with HP ALM , Jenkins , or other CI/CD tools.
    

  • Solid understanding of test automation lifecycle , object identification, and synchronization techniques. Experience
    

    Preferred Experience:
    

    
    

    • 7+ years in test automation, with at least 2 years in a lead capacity.
      

    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
      

    • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
