Job Description
Job Title: Repairs and Maintenance Executive
Department: R&M
Location: Bangalore
Reports to: Facility Manager
Role Summary:
The Repairs and Maintenance Executive will be responsible for ensuring all chai vending machines, caf equipment, store interiors, electrical, and plumbing fixtures are in optimal working condition across allocated QSR outlets. The role demands quick response to maintenance issues, preventive maintenance planning, vendor coordination, and cost-effective repairs to ensure uninterrupted store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Store Equipment & Infrastructure Maintenance
Conduct regular inspections of store equipment such as chai machines, grinders, blenders, refrigerators, and water purifiers.
Address breakdown complaints from store teams and resolve issues within defined TAT (Turn-Around Time).
Maintain records of repairs and parts replaced.
2. Preventive Maintenance
Develop and follow a preventive maintenance calendar for all stores and vending machines.
Identify recurring issues and recommend permanent solutions or upgrades.
Maintain service logs for audits and compliance.
3. Vendor Management
Coordinate with third-party technicians and service partners for specialized repairs.
Negotiate AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and ensure SLA adherence.
Ensure proper documentation of vendor visits and bills.
4. Utilities and Store Infrastructure
Attend to minor civil works like leakage, false ceiling damage, flooring, or fixture repairs.
Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, and carpenters as needed.
Monitor power backup (UPS/inverters) and ensure emergency lights and exhausts are functional.
5. Asset Tracking and Spare Inventory
Maintain spare inventory for critical items (filters, motors, timers, etc.).
Support Asset Tagging and movement tracking across stores and warehouses.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant field.
24 years of experience in a similar role in QSR, F&B, or retail industries.
Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
Ability to read equipment manuals and diagrams.
Good problem-solving and prioritization skills.
Willingness to travel across stores within the region.
