Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement ServiceNow ITOM modules including:
• Discovery
• Service Mapping
• Event Management
• Operational Intelligence
• CMDB Integrations
• Develop MID Servers, probes, and sensors to support Discovery and integrations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure accurate and complete CI data in the CMDB.
• Configure and maintain event correlation rules and alerts from monitoring tools.
• Integrate third-party monitoring solutions (e.g., SolarWinds, SCOM, Nagios) with ServiceNow ITOM.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure optimal performance of ITOM components.
• Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and deployment plans.
• Support upgrades and patching activities related to ITOM.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB.
• Hands-on experience with Service Mapping and Event Management.
• Experience working with MID Servers and monitoring tool integrations.
• Good understanding of ITIL practices.
• Knowledge of scripting (JavaScript, Glide) in the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have:

• ServiceNow CSA and CIS-ITOM certifications.
• Experience with Cloud Discovery and Kubernetes/Container monitoring.
• Familiarity with CMDB Health dashboards and CI lifecycle management.
