Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled React Lead to spearhead the development of modern web applications in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, contributing directly to development (70%) while also mentoring and guiding a small team (30%).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and responsive web applications using React.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, backend, and product to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and reusability.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
• Participate in architecture discussions, sprint planning, and technical decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with BFSI security and regulatory standards.
• Stay current with the latest trends in the React ecosystem and introduce improvements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 812 years of experience in web development, with at least 4+ years in React.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with state management tools (Redux, Context API).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to BFSI domain projects or other regulated environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of unit testing (Jest, React Testing Library) and E2E testing (Cypress).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Prior experience in leading or mentoring small teams.
