Job Description
OverviewUtility Electrical Engineer - Automotive
Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing documents RFQ to put out tenders for contractors
Should be able to carry out Electrical work on current facility wherever required & Handling of retrofit of minor lelectrical work
Should have hands on experience in planning & erection of equipment & machineries in the shop floor.
Should be able to study the current Layout & other infrastructure facilities in the plant & decide the requirement of buying / refurbishing.
Study the current Electrical SLD of plant and able to modify the setup ready for Production
Ensuring the factory meets OHS (Occupation, Health & Safety) requirements and that facilities comply with legislation.
Should have good exposure in planning of office space, training room, parking area, canteen with required utilities.
Project management and supervising and coordinating the work of contractors. Ensuring the on time completion of Facility installation.
Investigating availability and suitability of options for the current & new premises
Calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money.
Should have hands on experience in planning & installation of High voltage & low voltage equipment.
Able to study the current electrical & electronics facilities in the plant & decide the requirement of buying / refurbishing.
Good knowledge on Panel board & able to understand the circuit layout on the entire factory premises
Should be client centric and proactive in sharing the improvement plans for betterment of client support
Proactive in providing suggestions to management for overall improvement of service level
In case of incident reported, should be able to coordinate with O&M vendor and check if the action has been taken as per defined SOP, Incident report should be filled properly
Should be able to perform the check & audits on regular basis
Should be able to quickly grasp the understanding on requirement & Should be able to coordinate with other stake holder for issue closer.
Able to calculate load, Load fluctuation & Transformer requirement of each shop, buildings & factory.
Should have hands on experience in study the feeder line / substation capacity & work with Govt. Officials for enhancing the capacity.
Coordinate with process engineering & manufacturing team to fulfill the electrical requirement during installation.
Good knowledge on MTTF & MTBF calculation and able to optimize it to ensure the maximum availability of electrical equipment in the factory.
Basic knowledge on PLC installation, PLC programming, PLC troubleshoot & IOT cables.
Calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money.
Qualifications
BE - Electrical Engineering
Essential skills Experience in Electrical Equipment layout planning & execution. Ability to multi-task and priorities workload.Knowledge in Utilities required for Automotive Production Line.Experience in Utilities/Machineries erection & equipment installation.Should have Practical, flexible and innovative approach to work.AutoCADMS Office along with MS ProjectsShould have good knowledge about the Industrial policy of government related to Electricity & all other Industrial regulation inside the factory.
