Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performing RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build dynamic, responsive user interfaces using ReactJS (Vue.js is a plus).
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and deliverables.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and DevOps teams to build cloud-native applications.
• Lead and participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, performance, and security standards.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate with product owners, QA, and other team members in a Scrum-based environment.
• Address non-functional requirements such as security, performance, scalability, and usability during design and development.
• Drive continuous improvement in code quality, development processes, and deployment strategies.

Must-Have Skills

• Languages: Java, JavaScript
• Backend: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Cloud
• Frontend: ReactJS (Vue.js/AngularJS are nice to have), HTML5, CSS3
• Cloud: AWS, Azure, or GCP (at least one is required)
• Security: Authentication & Authorization, Single Sign-On (SSO), familiarity with OWASP principles
• CI/CD & DevOps: Maven, Jenkins, Git (GitHub/Bitbucket), Docker
• Databases: Oracle (required); MySQL, Redis, MongoDB (nice to have)
• Version Control: Git-based source control tools

Others: REST APIs, Kafka, Agile/Scrum methodology, JIRA, Splunk
