Role & responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

• Good domain knowledge in Corporate Banking (e.g., cash management, trade finance, treasury, payments)
• Hands-on experience with API Banking understanding of RESTful APIs, Open Banking standards, and API lifecycle.
• Work as an individual contributor and as a team member on the project
• Requirement analysis, Test Scenario, Test Design, Test Execution Functional and using Postman .
• well versed with SDLC/ STLC , Defect life cycle, Functional & API testing
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Reporting

Core Responsibilities 1. Testing API-based banking products and corporate banking services.2. Experience with API testing (Postman), host-to-host integrations. Problem solving and Complexity Required to undertake research on technology issues that will better serve the Bank.Expected to understand the latest releases and suggest improvements.Expected to recommend suggestions to improve API reliability, performance and scalability.

Preferred candidate profile

Education and Experience

Minimum formal education

• BE / MCA

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with API testing (Postman), host-to-host integrations.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (RBI guidelines on financial and non-financial APIs).
• Banking Domain base product knowledge

Work Experience :

• Specific past experience in the role of API
• At least 3 years experience in IT, preferably in a Banking & Finance environment.
