Senior Software Engineer @ Akamai

Job Description

• Collaborating with other software engineering teams to influence and shape the design process and product development
• Creating and enhancing new features and functionality, including conception, design, testing and deployment
• Being the subject matter and team expert, leading and mentoring others to optimize their productivity
• Working with internal teams to troubleshoot complex problems in our network for our customers

• Have 3+ years in experience in software development life cycles and writing code in Golang/C/C++ within a Unix/Linux environment
• Have understanding of how internet and its networks/protocols (IP, DNS, routing, HTTP, TCP or web architecture) works
• Demonstrate a keen interest in learning new technologies
• Be a natural communicator with an interest in mentoring others using your subject matter expertise
• Have experience in cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP/Azure etc
• Be adept on Cloud native constructs and deployments
