Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Store Manager will represent the company as it brand ambassador at the store, being responsible and accountable for
    the overall store performance which includes driving P&L, Team Management and Security, Brand Custody and adhering to
    Brand Guidelines. This role will be required to guarantee an extraordinary Client experience, being present on the sales
    floor, leading and supporting all activities to achieve store targets.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Own and manage the P&L of the store and drive profitability through retail excellence
    2. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability
    3. Represent the company in the local market, identifying new opportunities to increase customer footfall, attract
    new customers and build a loyal relationship with the brand.
    4. Manage the store-operating budget, control store expenses.
    5. In partnership with other functions, support CRM initiatives and events, securing Client loyalty and increasing
    Client spending.
    6. Manage the overall functioning of the store, including sales, inventory, staff, and customer service and Reporting to
    the Regional Manager.
    7. Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring stock availability and minimizing shrinkage.
    8. Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies
    9. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring visual merchandising standards are met
    10. Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
    11. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards, Security and Loss Prevention
    compliance.
    12. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to drive business growth and
    maintain a competitive edge
    13. People Management:
    a. Responsible to manage optimum people resources; collaborate in the hiring process
    b. Train and supervise staff to ensure high-quality customer service and adherence to company policies
    c. Responsible for people metrics like retention and career progression
    d. Effectively lead, develop, and support the store team to meet and/or exceed sales and profitability targets
    e. Act as a collaborative leader who builds the team to deliver service excellence and extraordinary client
    experiences.

     

    SKILLS:

    Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
    Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining customer relationships
    In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
    Proficient in inventory management and visual merchandising
    Good understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and ability to analyze sales data
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

    Bachelors degree in Sales / Marketing; MBA Preferred.
    7+ years of store managerial experience & HNI customer handling experience and/or
    Jewellery store experience or Luxury Brand experience is a plus.
    Proven track record in sales generation, managing the achievement of sales goals.
    Proven ability to develop new opportunities and maintain client relationships while ensuring brand recognition and
    penetration in market.
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM and Point of Sales (POS) system.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Proficiency in English and Hindi.
    Fluency in the regional language is preferred.
