Quality Engineer (Playwright) @ Zensar

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Own End-to-End QE responsibility for one or more Small to Medium sized products
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript
• Hands on experience of API testing and tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
• Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of web applications.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies and integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline configurations.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Perform regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve test coverage and quality.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and report findings to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test plan, automation.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Proficiency in Playwright for automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with other testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Cucumber.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
