- 1.8Lakhs - 2.4Lakhs/year (1 VACANCY) JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester with at least 1 year of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of software applications. You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver reliable and high-performing software solutions by identifying issues, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring software meets the highest quality standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design and execute test cases to ensure software quality and performance. Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Collaborate with the development team to understand product features and technical implementations. Perform functional, regression, system, and usability testing across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop). Develop and maintain automated test scripts for continuous testing (using tools like Selenium, Cypress, etc.). Ensure compliance with established software testing standards. Prepare and present test reports summarizing test results, defects, and recommendations. Work in Agile/Scrum development cycles, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Test APIs using tools like Postman to validate backend services. Review user stories and specifications to create detailed test plans. Identify process improvements and propose solutions for enhancing testing efficiency. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role. Familiarity with various testing methodologies (Manual, Automated, Load, Performance, etc.). Proficiency in using automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Understanding of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus. Experience with Agile and DevOps practices. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. PREFERRED SKILLS Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration testing. Knowledge of API testing and web service testing (REST/SOAP). Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications. Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package.
