- Our AI Research & Consulting Lab in Bangalore is looking for a PhD-qualified Consultant to lead enterprise advisory on agentic AI-driven workflow transformation. This role is ideal for a thought leader whose doctoral work explored how Generative AI agents capable of perception, planning, memory, and autonomycan reshape the structure of work. Role Overview You will advise clients on embedding agentic AI models into their business workflows, helping them identify: Roles that can be augmented or replaced by intelligent agents. Functions where agentic systems can autonomously execute decisions across operations, service, or support. Redeployment paths and upskilling programs for affected employees, aligning AI with sustainable workforce strategy. Key Responsibilities Client Engagement & Analysis: Assess existing workflows, org charts, and decision processes to identify points where agentic AI can replace, augment, or optimize roles. Deliver diagnostic frameworks to map tasks to agent capabilitiese.g., perception (NLP/vision), planning (ReAct, AutoGPT), tool use (LangChain agents), and memory. Be able to technically architect and drive implementation of Agentic AI workflows Basically, you are good at Business Architecture as well as Agentic AI Technical architecture. Transformation Design: Architect transformation strategies that embed autonomous AI agents into business functionscustomer support, HR, finance ops, sales intelligence, etc. Recommend organizational redesigns that reflect the agent/human hybrid workforce of the future. Human Capital Strategy: Advise HR and L&D leaders on how to reposition redundant roles, using skill gap analysis and AI-aligned upskilling paths. Define AI-readiness profiles and role evolution matrices for enterprise job families. Thought Leadership & Enablement: Publish insights and contribute to the firms POV on agentic systems in enterprise transformation. Required Qualifications PhD in Artificial Intelligence / Organizational AI / Multi-Agent Systems, with a thesis focused on: Agentic AI systems: autonomy, decision-making, planning, or human-agent collaboration. Application of Generative AI to workforce redesign, task automation, and human-AI teaming. Alma mater should be a reputed institution: IISc Bangalore, IITs, or ISB. Strong foundation in: LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, LLaMA), autonomous agents (AutoGPT, BabyAGI, LangGraph) Agent frameworks: ReAct, memory-enabled agents, tool-using agents Enterprise AI applications: RAG systems, intelligent copilots, virtual agents Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills. Preferred Skills Prior consulting experience in enterprise AI or transformation (internship or full-time). Experience designing or deploying AI agents in real-world applications.
