Job Description

Dear Candidate,

We at SISL are looking for a person having hands on experience in PostgreSQL DBA.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL databases
• Implement row-level and policy-based access control
• Monitor performance and query health
• Manage DB backup/recovery and high availability
• Automate schema migrations with tools like Flyway or Liquibase
• Work closely with app developers on data layer needs

Requirements:

• 5+ years with PostgreSQL
• Strong in SQL, RLS, indexing, query plans
• Experience in cloud-hosted environments (AWS RDS)
• Comfortable with CI/CD and schema versioning tools
• Bonus: exposure to Kafka, OpenSearchRole & responsibilities
