Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform ultrasonic testing (UT) on SG Iron components as per specified procedures and standards.
Interpret and evaluate test results for acceptance or rejection.
Prepare NDT reports and maintain inspection documentation.
Coordinate with the quality and production team regarding inspection outcomes.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of UT equipment.
Adhere to safety and compliance protocols during all inspection activities.

Requirements:

Minimum 25 years of hands-on experience in Ultrasonic Testing of cast iron components.
Strong understanding of casting defects, especially in SG Iron.
Experience working in foundry or heavy engineering industry preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good communication and report writing skills.
Willingness to work on-site or travel to vendor locations if required.
