Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic FICO Practice Head to lead and expand our SAP FICO consulting services. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in SAP FICO implementations, solution architecture, and team leadership, coupled with a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving practice growth, client engagement, solution delivery excellence, and talent development within the FICO domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Growth:
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the SAP FICO practice, aligning with overall company objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, develop go-to-market strategies, and drive revenue growth for the FICO practice.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and positioning our FICO solutions effectively.
- Stay abreast of SAP FICO innovations, industry best practices, and competitive landscape to ensure the practice remains at the forefront.
- Solution & Delivery Excellence:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex SAP FICO implementation, upgrade, and support projects, ensuring high quality, on-time, and on-budget execution.
- Provide expert guidance and architectural oversight for SAP FICO solutions, ensuring they meet client requirements and align with SAP's best practices.
- Lead pre-sales activities, including solutioning, effort estimation, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Ensure adherence to project methodologies, quality standards, and risk management processes across all FICO engagements.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SAP FICO consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and high performance.
- Drive talent acquisition, retention, and performance management within the practice.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the FICO consulting team.
- Financial & Operational Management:
- Manage the P&L for the FICO practice, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control.
- Optimize resource utilization and engagement profitability.
- Implement operational efficiencies to improve practice performance and delivery margins.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Mandatory: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in SAP FICO consulting, with a significant portion in a leadership or practice management role.
- Extensive experience in leading large-scale, end-to-end SAP FICO implementation projects across various industries.
- Proven track record of driving practice growth, revenue generation, and client relationship management.
- Deep functional and technical expertise in core SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-CCA, CO-PCA, CO-PA, PS, Product Costing, Material Ledger, New G/L).
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable, including migration strategies and functionalities.
- Strong understanding of integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP).
- Experience in pre-sales, solutioning, and proposal writing.
