We are looking Data tester.

The Data Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and integrity of data across new data platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for data pipelines, including ingestion, staging, and transformation processes.
• Validate the accuracy and completeness of data ingested from various sources (e.g., core project data sources, financial systems, and other business applications including Swordfish).
• Verify the correctness of data transformations and calculations, particularly for financial reporting (e.g., financial accounting rules, historical process reconciliation).
• Perform data reconciliation and identify discrepancies between source and target systems.
• Test the functionality and data integrity of interface views.
• Validate the decoupling of specific workflow engines and the export of data to the Datalake.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of external data integrated from sources like XE.com.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in data testing, data quality assurance, or data validation roles.
• Strong understanding of SQL for data querying and validation.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL testing methodologies.
• Ability to design effective test cases for complex data flows.
• Familiarity with financial data and reporting concepts, including P&L and GAAP.
• Experience with testing data from various source systems and formats, including specialized business applications
• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and the ability to test data within an MDM context, specifically understanding MDM functions.

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills to report findings and collaborate with technical teams.
