ROLE AND CONTEXT

Purpose:


The job holder is responsible to lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VA/PT) for all digital assets and applications at Adani Ports and Logistics, ensuring timely execution, risk mitigation, and compliance with cybersecurity standards.



Main Priorities:




  • Plan and execute VA/PT projects across digital assets.

  • Identify, assess, and report vulnerabilities and risks.

  • Collaborate with IT and development teams for remediation.

  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

  • Provide regular updates and final reports to stakeholders.

  • Drive continuous improvement in VA/PT processes.



Key Outputs:



  • Project plans, Gantt charts, and KPIs for VA/PT activities.

  • Detailed vulnerability and penetration testing reports.

  • Risk assessments and prioritized remediation strategies.

  • Compliance documentation and incident RCA reports.

  • Final project summaries and executive reports.

  • Technical documentation and internal training materials.

  • Continuous improvement and lessons-learned reports.

Key Performance Metrics:



  • Timely execution of VA/PT projects.

  • Number and severity of vulnerabilities identified and remediated.

  • Compliance rate with security standards and frameworks.

  • Stakeholder satisfaction with reporting and communication.

  • Reduction in incidents caused by known vulnerabilities.

  • Effectiveness of training and awareness programs.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.



Skills/ Knowledge:



  • Strong understanding of VA/PT methodologies and tools (e. g. , Nessus, Metasploit, Burp Suite).

  • Familiarity with operating systems, network protocols, and security frameworks.

  • Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR compliance.

  • Strong project management and documentation skills.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.



Certifications (if any):


CEH, Security+, OSCP (preferred) or equivalent cybersecurity certifications




Experience (add relevant Exp also)



  • 5-8 years in cybersecurity.

  • Minimum 3-4 years in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
