Job Description
The Cloud Solutions Architect (CSG) is responsible for technically partnering with the sales team in the pre-sales process. This includes understanding the technical IT requirements of prospective partners / end customers and designing system architecture for appropriate cloud-based solutions.
The role holder is responsible for presenting and selling the solutions to the customers, carrying out Proof of Concepts (POC) / product demonstrations and preparing BOM & costing estimates. The role holder provides technical training to channel partners, inside sales and product teams. The role holder also provides technical input and support to the managed services team for post-sales migration / implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for understanding the technical IT requirements of prospective partners /end
customers in detail, for design of appropriate cloud-based solution..
- Be responsible for presenting / selling the solution to customers, including providing
technical clarifications, completion of POC, product demonstrations, BOM and cost
estimates preparation.
- Provide technical support and training to channel partners, sales, and product teams,
including inputs and support for post-sales migration and implementation activities.
Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads.
- Provides solutions to meet client requirements and can adapt to new requirements.
Understand and document technical requirements from clients, exp in building solutions & RFP's
- Define Migration strategy to move application to cloud.
- Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create a bill of materials, including required Cloud Services (such as VM, Blob etc.) and tools.
- Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage
instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.
- Design the Azure network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets Design the HA / DR strategies.
- Execute migration plan.
- Leverage appropriate Azure services.
- Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance control.
- Set up process, services and tools around cloud Oversee build of the environment.
