Key Responsibilities
Responsible for design and development of low-level software for aerospace domain
Work in an agile team in all the phases of software development (requirement analysis, design, coding, unit testing and functional testing)
Collaborate with a cross-functional team for execution of new requirements
Focus on timely delivery with quality and cost
Maintain integrity and work ethics within the team
Mandatory Skills:
Should have 8-12 years of experience in Embedded SW development, primarily with Board Support Package and device drivers
Sound knowledge in embedded C development for MPU (PowerPC, ARM, Intel etc.) or MCU (AVR, Renesas, STM etc.)
Experience in writing and optimizing device drivers for I/O peripherals like GPIO, Timer, UART, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, PCI, Flash etc.
Knowledge of safety standards in Aerospace (DO-178B/C) and exposure to complete Software Development Life Cycle (development, unit testing, integration testing)
Working knowledge of RTOS - VxWorks, Integrity, DEOS, QNX etc.
Experience with GNU toolchain - compiler, linker, makefiles, debugging
Knowledge of scripting language (Bash, Python etc.)
Knowledge about avionics protocols (ARINC-429, ARINC-664, RS-232).
Experience in HW abstraction layer, board bring-up.
Understanding of Agile methodology
