Job Description
Primary Purpose of the Role
In the context of ISIT transformation program and to help on transition on infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Assess current infrastructure landscape (data centers, hosting, storage)
- Prepare and deliver clear technical documentation (HLD & infra schema to be created/updated)
- Process writing SOP and instructions to be created/updated
- Assets management - (control the registered assets and check data quality)
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Skills Required
Mandatory Skills:
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in IT infrastructure, hosting, data center operations, or related domains.
- Demonstrated track record in leading or supporting infrastructure transformation, migration, or modernization projects.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders in complex environments.
Technical Skills
- Deep understanding of data center technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS, object storage) and backup technologies.
- Knowledge of automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
- Understanding of network architecture, security best practices, and disaster recovery/business continuity planning.
- Experience with monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning for infrastructure environments.
Certifications (Preferred)
- ITIL Foundation or higher.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
- Relevant vendor certifications (e.g., VMware VCP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, NetApp, Dell EMC).
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working in diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn emerging technologies and methodologies
Educational Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Masters degree is an advantage but not mandatory.
