Manager/ Sr Manager - Postgres SQL Developer, Analytics @ Galaxy Health

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Data Modeling and Design:
• Design and develop efficient data marts using PostgreSQL, adhering to best practices in data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
• Translate business requirements into effective data models and structures.
• Create and maintain metadata documentation for data marts.
• Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL):
• Develop and maintain efficient ETL processes using PostgreSQL, PL/SQL, or other relevant tools.
• Extract data from various sources (databases, flat files, APIs) and transform it into a suitable format for analysis.
• Load data into data marts efficiently and reliably.
• Data Quality Assurance:
• Implement and monitor data quality checks and validation rules to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Performance Tuning:

Optimize data mart performance through indexing, partitioning, and other techniques.

Preferred candidate profile

Min 3 years on SQL / Postgres SQL (preferred), Data Warehouse, Data Mart Design, DB development & maintenance

Immediate availability is preferred
