Job Description
Senior Program Manager IT-OT Operations
Reporting to the IoT Program Management Director, the person will be driving complex and key IT-OT convergence programs that involves Device, Platform, Application, OT environment, OT Networks & security. The person should be able to provide a single face to the customer integrating multiple streams of execution. Should be able to plan and track activities across different specialized teams and will be responsible for the delivery of the project, ensuring the financial targets are met and the customer satisfaction is maintained. Should have experience in managing cross functional teams of around 40-50 people. Should have experience in working with global large enterprises on new development projects.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 10-15 years of Program Management Experience Delivered Complex Transition & Transformation Projects
- ITSM Framework including Requirements, Change, Configuration, Event Management
- Financial management Experience in ensuring project profitability goals of the program being delivered.
- Excellent articulation & presentation skills
- Strong ability to prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short and long-term needs
- Having sound understanding of OT, Industrial Networks & OT Security.
- Good exposure to pre-sales and RFP process and Assist sales team in pursuing and closing the large deals.
Technical Skill Set:
Operations Technologies
- Industry 4.0 project blueprint, Business case (proposals, gap Analysis, Feasibility study), Pre-project analysis & project planning and proposed to customer.
- Factory network architecture diagram including IT infra hardware, Edge device, PLC, IIOT Sensors, Embedded devices, computer vision, MES, IOT platform.
- Knowledge on Industrial Robotic automation solution for various industrial use case & live data streaming by Edge gateway or WIFI enables PLC.
- Knowledge of various RTU and communication interfaces such as Radio, PSTN, ADSL, GSM /GPRS etc.
- Knowledge of PLC Programming, Hardware Configuration, IO Assignment, PLC Tag Database Creation, Communication establishment with SCADA.
- Experience of Enterprise Telemetry SCADA system design and architecting, Clear SCADA, Open Enterprise etc specifically in Energy Utilities industry vertical.
- OT Infrastructure management, server upgrades, Network change management
- Integration knowledge of SCADA / Automation into ASSET MANAGEMENT
Industrial Networks
- Experience in Industrial IT & Network Infrastructure technologies.
- Industrial Network implementation using Industrial managed/unmanaged Switches/routers, Industrial Firewalls, VLAN, remote access etc.
- Understanding of Active Network Analysis / Deep Packet Inspection LAN/WLAN specifically in industrial environment (example PROFINET Analysis, WiFi Radio field analysis)
OT Security
- Ability to collaborate with computer engineers, production engineers and OT and IT professionals to develop strategies for effective OT security
- Experience in a wide range of information security technologies, embedded security, and infrastructure platforms, such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Azure Amazon Web Services, and various Linux Distributions, and network
- Work with infrastructure and development teams to integrate, implement, and maintain security tools in IT/OT environments across the plants
IT Expertise
- Understanding of Infrastructure Management Services for IT Networks, End User Devices, Server/Storage, etc. along with Service Management processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing Project activities
- Setting up and enforcing good practices on project management which will be followed by different teams
- Manage requirements and ensure appropriate change management processes are implemented
- Focus on improving productivity of the team and ensuring timely delivery of the requirements
- Implementing quality control and assurance practices to be followed by the project team
- Ensuring an integrated program plan including activities from various teams
- Works with partners to get required support in delivering the project
- Implement knowledge management practice
- Identify the training needs of the team and ensure that the team is equipped with the necessary knowledge to deliver the project
- Meets financial objectives by preparing project budget, tracking expenditures, analysing variances, initiating corrective actions.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications
- Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching employees, communicating job expectations.
- Responsible for leading the technical discussion and engagement with the customer.
