Senior Software Engineer @ Sapphirus Systems

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Backend Development (.NET & Azure)
• Design and develop scalable and secure .NET applications using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Web API.
• Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Work with Azure cloud services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Blob Storage, and Service Bus.
• Optimize database performance using SQL Server & Entity Framework.
• Implement authentication and authorization using Azure AD, OAuth, and JWT.
• Frontend Development (Angular)
• Develop responsive and dynamic UI components using Angular (v10+), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Optimize application performance and security in the frontend.
• Integrate REST APIs and WebSocket with Angular-based applications.
• DevOps & Deployment
• Set up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated deployments.
• Work with Docker & Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Monitor applications using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Collaboration & Agile Development
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, DevOps, and QA).
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Conduct code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing sessions within the team.

Preferred / Required Skills :

• Backend (.NET & Azure): .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework, SQL Server
• Frontend (Angular): Angular (v10+), TypeScript, RxJS, HTML, CSS, SCSS
• Azure Cloud Services: Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Service Bus, Cosmos DB
• DevOps & CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes
• Security & Authentication: Azure AD, OAuth, JWT, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Testing & Debugging: NUnit, xUnit, Jasmine, Karma, Postman, Swagger
  Agile Tools: Jira, Confluence

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure Certifications (AZ-204, AZ-400) are a plus.
• Experience in Microservices Architecture and event-driven programming (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Exposure to GraphQL, gRPC, WebSockets is a plus.
