SQL DBA

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Hybrid / Chennai

Work Timing: 4:30 PM to 12:30 AM IST

Skills:

• 3 Year of Experience as a DBA.
  3 Year of Experience in Microsoft technologies, SQL server.
• Experience in Core DBA (SQL Server) as well as Application DBA (Performance Tuning, working with Dev team Etc)
• Manage SQL Server database, Configure and maintain database servers and processes
• Monitor system's health and performance and troubleshooting problems
• Ensure high levels of performance, sustainability and DB security
• Capacity planning and monitoring database growth.
• Experience with Avantis will be a huge plus.
• Install, Configure and maintain SQL DB.
• Understanding of DB design principles and relational DB concepts.
• Manage user access and permissions.
• Experience with SQL Server Management studio and other monitoring tools.
• Develop and maintain DB documentation, including diagrams and procedures.
• Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Ability to perform Backups and recovery procedures.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with business and end users.
• Knowledge on Service Now ticketing tool.

Good to have:

• Any MS certifications on SQL server.
• Experience on scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of Avantis , Tableau.
