System Administrator @ Preludesys

Job Description

As a System Admin you will:

• Respond to user support tickets and infrastructure issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Perform root cause analysis and apply permanent fixes when possible.
• Use event logs and monitoring tools to check the health of servers and network devices.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and potential downtime risks.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Install and configure operating systems, software, and updates.
• Administer Microsoft Azure and Office 365 services including user provisioning, license management, and security controls.
• Manage Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams configurations.
• Liaise with hardware and software vendors to escalate and resolve issues.
• Manage warranties, support contracts, and hardware replacements.

Skills Required:

• 1+ years of prior experience in system monitoring, endpoint support, and vendor coordination is essential.
• Solid understanding of domain structures, GPOs, and user/group management.
• Experience with DHCP, DNS, File Server Management, and endpoint security tools.
• Hands-on experience with laptop/desktop support, OS installation, and software setup.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Office 365 platforms including user roles and security.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, and DNS fundamentals.
• Exposure to firewall management (e.g., SonicWall NSA 4600 preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work across teams and with non-technical users.
• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)/MCSA or similar Microsoft certifications preferred
