Senior Python Developer @ Decisiontree Analytics

Job Description

Responsibilities -

1. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code

2. Design and implement of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

3. Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic

4. Implementation of security and data protection

5. Integration of data storage solutions

6. Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation

7. Work collaboratively with design team to understand end user requirements to provide technical solutions and for the implementation of new software features.

8. Hire and Mentor Junior Developers

9. Prioritize manage multiple projects at one time

Requirements and qualifications:

1. Good communication and documentation skills

2. 3+ years of experience with most or all of the following: Python Django, relational DBs, jQuery JavaScript, HTML, CSS/LESS, Git

3. Experience in Angular, ReactJS, and AWS will be a plus.

4. Extra credit for experience with any of the following libraries: NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Bokh, Plotly, SciKit-Learn, Theano, TensorFlow, Keras, NLTK, Gensim, Scrapy, Scapy, nose, iPython, wxPython, Pillow, Stasmodels, Pipenv, PyTorch, Caffe2, Pendulum, Dash, PyFlux, Fire, Imbalanced-learn, Flashtext
