About the Opportunity

Role: Inside Sales

Level: Insourced (Third Party Payroll)

Reporting To: Team Lead - Inside Sales

Location: Mumbai


About the Function The Independent Hotels team, part of the Domestic Hotel supply function, is responsible for overseeing the supply of independent hotels located throughout India. The Independent Hotels team has more than 70000+ hotels contracted on our platforms


About the Role As a Outbound/ Business Development Associate your key objective is growing the coverage and quality of MakeMyTrip & GoIbibo hotel supply network. You will take care of a large portfolio of emerging hotel partners and assist in partnership related functions at scale.


What will you be doing

  • Contact high growth hotel partners to highlight room night & revenue growth opportunities and maximize sales
  • Contact new or potential hotel partners to encourage completion of their online listing
  • Encourage program participation through focused project sprints
  • Communicate efficiently with partners through various communication methods including phone, email, messaging and webinars
  • Train and inform partners on our technologies, tools, extranet and models
  • Familiarize hotel partners about different channels of sale and how to maximise their sales through them Prioritize daily tasks, monitor results and track progress in internal systems

Qualification & Experience

  • Graduation from a reputed institute with 2- 4 years of experience in sales/Travel Trade/ Key Account Management/ Contracting/B2B Sales.
  • Experience in handling multiple accounts as a partner is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Power-point.

  • Strong communication skills, Influencing skills, great interpersonal & stakeholder management skills.
  • High on energy, team player coupled with a great attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is essential.
