Job Description

We are seeking a WordPress Developer to build and manage a high-performance campaign website that supports outreach, engagement, and conversion goals. This is a time-bound project requiring rapid development, responsiveness, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:1. WordPress DevelopmentDesign and develop responsive WordPress websites based on UI/UX mockups or wireframes.Create and customize WordPress themes and child themes according to project requirements.Develop, modify, and maintain custom plugins to enhance site functionality.Convert PSD/Figma / Sketch designs into pixel-perfect WordPress themes.2. Site Performance and OptimizationOptimize websites for performance, loading speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.Perform regular site maintenance and troubleshooting to resolve bugs, errors, and compatibility issues.Implement caching, CDN, image optimization, and other best practices for fast-loading websites.3. Backend and Frontend IntegrationIntegrate third-party APIs, CRMs, payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, etc.), and custom forms.Ensure seamless integration with backend databases and dynamic content sources.Write clean, modular, and well-documented code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.4. Security and ComplianceImplement WordPress security best practices and update protocols.Ensure all websites are GDPR-compliant and follow accessibility (WCAG) standards when required.5. Content Management and SupportSupport content editors in using the CMS efficiently.Set up user roles and permissions for client/admin teams.Provide training, documentation, and post-deployment support.6. Project CollaborationCollaborate with designers, content writers, SEO specialists, and project managers.Participate in project planning, sprint meetings, and code reviews.Manage version control and deployment via Git and staging environments.
