Transport Executive @ Zepto

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize routes for transportation of goods between warehouses, depots, and delivery points.
  
• Coordinate with logistics team to ensure timely pickup and drop-off of packages.
  
• Monitor vehicle tracking systems to track the movement of vehicles and optimize route efficiency.
  
• Collaborate with warehouse operations team to plan line hauls (long-distance transportation) efficiently.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all aspects of transport operations.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 1-6 years of experience in route planning, GPS tracking, or related field.
  
• Strong understanding of transport operations, including line hauling and warehouse operations.
  
• Proficiency in using software applications for route optimization and tracking (e.g. Google Maps).
  
• Excellent analytical skills to analyze data and make informed decisions about route optimization.
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work permanent night shift
