Java Developer For investment banking project || Bangalore & Mumbai @ Zenshastra Software

Job Description

OptimiseWe are hiring a Senior Java Developer with strong backend development expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, and distributed systems. You'll work closely with architects, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance applications for enterprise-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust, secure, and scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
  
• Work on REST APIs, Microservices architecture, and system integrations
  
• Collaborate with product managers and tech leads for requirement gathering and solutioning
  
• Guide and mentor junior developers and perform peer code reviews
  
• Optimize performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot production issues
  
• Follow Agile/Scrum practices and ensure on-time delivery
  

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Java 8+, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices
  
• Strong in OOP concepts, Design Patterns, and multi-threading
  
• Good knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
  
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  
• Solid debugging, profiling, and performance tuning skills
  
• Exposure to unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
  

Good to Have:

• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, or any cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  
• Front-end knowledge with ReactJS or Angular
  
• Familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
  
• Previous experience in Financial Services, Banking, or Enterprise applications
