Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications related to internet and mobile banking.
  
• Design and execute comprehensive test cases covering functional, regression, UI, and usability testing.
  
• Perform testing across platforms: web, Android, and iOS.
  
• Validate login/authentication mechanisms, fund transfers, bill payments, transaction history, and user settings.
  
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
  
• Log and track defects using tools like JIRA, QC/ALM, or Bugzilla.
  
• Support UAT and provide production validation post-deployment.
  
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
  
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, reports, and defect logs.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• 3+ years of experience in testing internet banking and mobile banking applications.
  
• Experience with mobile app testing tools.
  
• Strong understanding of banking functionalities such as fund transfers (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS), transaction history, card management, service requests, etc.
  
• Good exposure to API/Web Services testing and basic SQL for database validation.
  
• Familiarity with cross-browser and device compatibility testing.
