Job Description
As a Senior Python Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that meet business requirements and ensure scalability and performance optimization. Your experience in Django, Flask, and AWS will be critical in building robust, cloud-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python with Django and Flask frameworks.
Architect and implement backend systems with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Design and maintain APIs to support front-end functionality and third-party integrations.
Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes in a timely manner.
Write clean, reusable, and scalable code following best practices.
Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Python, Django, Flask, and cloud computing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
Strong expertise in Django and Flask frameworks.
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
Proficient with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) is a plus.
Experience in version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Familiarity with other cloud platforms like Azure or GCP is a plus.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
