Job Description
Job Purpose - RWS are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Developer to join the internal integrations team. You would be working on a number of our strategic transformation programmes designing and delivering key integrations whilst helping ensure our production platform continues to support critical business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new functionality in alignment with Group Architecture standards.
- Lead and support a small team of in-house developers, fostering collaboration and growth.
- Troubleshoot production issues, debug, and resolve defects efficiently.
- Analyze change requests and help refine technical requirements.
- Participate in and occasionally lead design and code reviews.
- Document MuleSoft applications clearly and thoroughly.
- Promote and implement best practices in development and integration.
- Plan proactively to ensure our integrations evolve alongside the MuleSoft platform.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4 years experience delivering integrations using the MuleSoft platform, preferably with a particular focus on the following:
- Test driven development using MUnit.
- Reliability patterns using Anypoint MQ or another message-based platform.
- Cloud based deployments.
- RAML.
- MuleSoft API Manager
- MuleSoft Exchange
- MuleSoft Design Centre
- Able to communicate well verbally and in writing with individuals from different teams with different levels of technical expertise.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Able to work in a global team.
- Understanding of the full development cycle (within agile working practices desirable).
- Comply with coding standards and procedures.
- Interested in learning new technologies.
