Job Title: L3 Network Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced L3 Network Engineer to install, configure, and maintain network and security equipment/services. The ideal candidate will have excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in network operational support/management roles.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain network and security equipment/services.

2. Perform troubleshooting analysis of LAN/WAN/ISDN/Firewall/VPN/SDWAN issues.

3. Document network problems and resolutions.

4. Proactively monitor and ensure network availability, performance, and security.

5. Maintain network device connectivity in data centers and bank sites.

Key Tasks:

1. Manage and document IPs/VLANs in data centers.

2. Facilitate LSI application permissions in Firewalls/VPNs.

3. Resolve internet/ISP issues with minimal downtime.

4. Monitor bandwidth and network traffic regularly.

5. Maintain network device warranties, AMC, licenses, and subscriptions.

6. Perform firmware updates and security patches.

7. Backup network device configurations periodically.

8. Maintain network traffic, firmware, and log reports.

9. Coordinate with ISPs for MPLS issues.

Requirements:

1. 8-11 years of experience in network engineering.

2. 6 years of experience in network operational support/management roles.

3. Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills in:

- SD-WAN

- LAN segmentation

- Cisco Switches, Wireless Access Points, Wireless Controllers, Routers

- Firewalls (Fortinet, Checkpoint, Cisco)

- F5 Load Balancers

4. Ability to maintain design of LAN/WAN, identify potential failures, and recommend solutions.

5. Good understanding of procedures, applications, and concepts within own subject area and in the context of the business.
