Network and Security Engineer (Traffic Management Systems)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Network and Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage our Traffic Management System's camera network. The ideal candidate will have expertise in network architecture, security protocols, and camera systems for traffic monitoring and management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement network architecture for traffic camera systems.
2. Configure and manage network security protocols to ensure data integrity.
3. Integrate camera systems with traffic management software.
4. Troubleshoot network and camera issues.
5. Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
6. Collaborate with teams to implement intelligent transportation systems (ITS).
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
2. Experience with network design, implementation, and management.
3. Knowledge of security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
4. Experience with IP cameras, NVRs, and traffic management software.
5. Familiarity with ITS and traffic surveillance systems.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Security+, etc.) are a plus.
Technical Skills:
1. Network architecture and design.
2. Security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, etc.).
3. Camera systems (IP cameras, PTZ cameras, etc.).
4. Traffic management software and analytics.
5. Network troubleshooting and debugging.
Soft Skills:
1. Communication and collaboration.
2. Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
3. Attention to detail and organizational skills.
