We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience in test automation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products through effective testing and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web and API-based applications.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand product requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Develop and maintain test frameworks and automation tools.
- Participate in code reviews, requirement reviews, and design discussions.
- Ensure test environments are properly set up and maintained.
- Work closely with DevOps/CI-CD teams to integrate tests into build pipelines.
- Provide detailed test reports, including test coverage and defect metrics.
Required Skills Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in QA automation.
- Strong experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium .
- Hands-on experience in Java, Python, JavaScript , or any relevant scripting/programming language.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate .
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks .
- Experience working with version control systems like Git .
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Good to have:
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) for test environment setup.
- Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
