Job Description
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Lead in Travel Domain to oversee the quality assurance lifecycle of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, hands-on experience with C# and Python-based test frameworks, and proven leadership abilities to guide a team of QA engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA team through planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality software releases.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# (e.g., Selenium with .NET) and Python (e.g., Pytest, PyCharm, Robot Framework).
- Drive the development and implementation of scalable automation frameworks.
- Define, implement, and maintain QA processes, test strategies, and test plans.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
- Oversee execution of manual test cases for new features, regression, and system testing when automation is not feasible.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical expertise and best practices.
- Continuously improve QA tools, processes, and documentation.
- Participate in release management and ensure defect-free delivery to production.
- Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior QA role.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools in C# (e.g., Selenium, NUnit) and Python (e.g., Pytest, Behave, Robot Framework).
- Solid understanding of manual testing techniques, exploratory testing, and defect lifecycle.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with version control systems like Git & Azure
- Familiarity with REST API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- ISTQB or similar QA certification.
- Agile/Scrum environment experience.
