• Position Title: AI Engineer Azure AI & Copilot Development
• Job Location: Remote/Hybrid/Onsite
• Experience: 3-6 years.

Job Summary

We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our team and help us build intelligent solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Semantic Kernel, and Azure OpenAI. You will work on projects involving large datasets, smart copilots, and AI-driven automation for enterprise use cases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and build intelligent agents using Azure AI Foundry and Semantic Kernel.
• Integrate LLMs (GPT-4, GPT-3.5) with enterprise data using Azure Cognitive Search and vector-based retrieval.
• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to answer complex queries from structured/unstructured data.
• Develop custom skills, plugins, and workflows using Semantic Kernel Planner and Function Calling.
• Connect to and query data sources like Azure SQL, Synapse, Cosmos DB, and Data Lake using APIs or SDKs.
• Collaborate with frontend/backend teams to embed copilots in React or .NET-based applications.
• Use Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Power Automate for task automation and backend orchestration.
• Deploy and secure solutions using Azure App Services, Containers, and Azure AD authentication.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, and Semantic Kernel.
• Good understanding of LLM-based agents, prompt engineering, and tool-use workflows.
• Proficiency in Python or .NET Core for backend development.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, data transformation, and cloud pipelines.
• Experience with cloud integration on Azure.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience building copilots, chatbots, or knowledge assistants.
• Exposure to multi-agent architectures or agentic AI.
• Microsoft certifications (AI-900, AI-102, DP-203) are a plus.
