Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java/Kotlin Software Developer to join our dynamic development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications using Java and Kotlin. Ideal candidates are passionate about clean code, modern software architecture, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Java and Kotlin.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues and application errors.
  
• Stay current with industry trends and suggest improvements to our technology stack.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Min 6+ years of experience in software development using Java or Kotlin.
  
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  
• Experience with Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks.
  
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and version control (e.g., Git).
  
• Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks.
  
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Kotlin in a production environment.
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
  
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  
• Exposure to frontend technologies or mobile development (Android) is a plus.
