Cloud Native Engineer - Openstack/devops/aws @ Arete & Arista

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for self-motivated OpenStack, Cloud Native and DevOps Engineers to join our client in their New Delhi office. You will be a talented Engineer with a penchant to learn and grow yourself in the domain of cloud engineering.

Our client is a Berlin based SaaS venture offering cloud native and serverless services to Fortune 500 companies.

What you will do post knowledge transfer:
1. Conception and construction of complex customer setups in the public / private / hybrid cloud environment
2. ""Containerization"" of existing solutions
3. Monitoring and operation of customer infrastructure
4. Sustainable and consistent automation of recurring tasks
5. ""Hands on"" troubleshooting
6. Competent contact person for our customers
7. Technical advice to customers and conducting technical training.

Essential:
1. Technology and education aside, developer must have an intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated appetite to improve current conditions.

Advanced expertise in at least one of the areas:
- Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCE, etc)
- Private Cloud (OpenStack, VMware)
- Software defined Storage (Ceph, Rook)
- Software defined Network (Contrail, Tungsten Fabric, Weave, Calico, BigSwitch, NSX, etc)
- Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, CloudFoundry, Rocket, Containers, LXC, LXD)
- Configuration Management (Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, Ansible, Terraform, etc)
- Virtualization (KVM, Xen, vSphere)
- Monitoring / Logging (Nagios / Icinga, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Fluentd, Kibana, Grafana)
- Continuous Integration / Delivery (Jenkins, Gitlab CI, DroneCI etc.)
- Databases: (MySQL, PostgreSQL, CouchDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, CockroachDB)

Preferred:
1. High willingness to learn and a quick grasp of complex architectures.
2. Excellent command in German or French (spoken and written).
3. Programming experience (for example in Java, Python, Ruby, Go) is an advantage.
