Job summary:
BlueOptima is seeking a skilled and passionate Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Platform team.

You will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure using AWS, while contributing to the overall platform development with your programming expertise.

Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Design and Management:
Design and implement highly scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
Manage and optimise cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance.
Implement automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning and management.Platform Development and Support:
Collaborate with application teams to understand their requirements and design platform solutions.
Develop and maintain platform components using your programming language expertise (Java/Python preferred).
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving platform-related issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement of the platform architecture and processes.
Contribute to the definition and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.Observability and Monitoring:
Work with the team to implement and maintain monitoring solutions for infrastructure and applications.
Analyse and interpret logs and metrics to identify potential issues and optimise performance.
Define and implement alerting mechanisms for proactive problem detection.
