Senior Automation Tester (only immediate joiners) @ Valuelabs

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Tester to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java and Selenium, along with a basic understanding of performance testing methodologies. You will be working on exciting projects for clients in diverse industries like Software Development, FinTech, and RetailTech.

Responsibilities:

*Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java.

*Participate in requirements gathering and design reviews.

*Execute automated test cases and analyze results.

*Identify, document, and track defects.

*Collaborate with developers to resolve issues.

*Contribute to the development of test automation frameworks.

*Perform basic performance testing using tools like JMeter (experience is a plus).

*Work within an Agile/DevOps environment.

*Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab.

Required Skills & Experience:

*5-8 years of experience in software testing.

*Strong proficiency in Java programming.

*Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

*Familiarity with testing frameworks like TestNG.

*Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Load Runner preferred).

*Experience with version control systems (Git).

*Understanding of Agile methodologies.

*Good communication and collaboration skills.

*Experience with databases like MySQL and Postgres is a plus.

*Knowledge of tools like Postman, Rest assured is a plus.

*Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
