Job Description

KBR is looking for Designer-Piping to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey The Piping Designer is responsible for creating accurate and detailed designs for piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications This role involves collaboration with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to develop effective and efficient piping solutions for industrial projects Key Responsibilities:Design Development:Develop detailed piping designs, layouts, and drawings based on project specifications and requirements Ensure designs comply with industry codes, standards, and safety regulations Collaboration:Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements Collaborate with other design disciplines (structural, electrical, etc ) to integrate piping systems into overall project plans Material Selection:Assist in the selection of appropriate materials for piping systems, considering factors such as fluid type, temperature, pressure, and environmental conditions D Modeling:Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create D models of piping systems Review and optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and efficiency Documentation:Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports Ensure that all design documentation is accurate and up-to-date Quality Assurance:Conduct quality checks on designs to identify and resolve potential issues Participate in design reviews to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments
