Head of Engineering

As Head of Engineering, you ll lead a high-impact team, shaping high-performance, low-latency solutions that protect banks across 25 countries. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Inspire: Manage and mentor a high-impact team of 60+ engineers, guiding them in technical excellence, scalability, and career growth.
- Architect at Scale: Drive engineering execution, ensuring our fraud prevention platform is performant, scalable, and real-time stopping financial crime before it happens.
- Innovate with AI & ML: Push the boundaries of AI-powered fraud detection, leveraging machine learning models that redefine banking security.
- Deliver Mission-Critical Solutions: Collaborate with product management, customer success, and leadership teams to define roadmaps, prioritize features, and deliver high-impact solutions on time.
- Champion DevOps & CI/CD: Implement and enhance agile methodologies, DevOps best practices, and CI/CD pipelines to drive efficiency and reliability.
- Own the Tech Vision: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and define how Clari5 leverages innovation to combat fraud at a global scale.
- Be Hands-On When It Matters: While leading the team, you should be comfortable rolling up your sleeves in Java and modern enterprise technologies to solve critical challenges.
- Enterprise-Grade Experience: Architect and scale both on-premise and SaaS-based fraud prevention solutions for global BFSI customers.
What You Bring:
- 16+ years of experience in product engineering, with 8+ years in BFSI (banking/fraud/risk analytics).
- Proven success in leading and scaling high-performance engineering teams.
- Deep expertise in Java, AI/ML, and high-performance enterprise systems.
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable, cutting-edge tech solutions.
- Agile mindset with experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and enterprise-grade SaaS & on-premise solutions.
